All are invited to “Repairing the World through Music and Story: An Interfaith Evening of Healing and Hope” on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, from 7:00-8:15 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Assumption in Louisville. This event, which is free of charge, will feature Grammy Award-winning violin virtuoso Johnny Gandelsman. It will be comprised of moving stories, prayers, and inspirational music meant to evoke healing, restoration, peace, and hope. “Violins of Hope” is a touring exhibition providing an opportunity for learning and reflection through restored violins that survived the Holocaust. Twelve of the violins will be on display at this concert and exhibit, which is hosted by the Jewish Federation of Louisville and the Center for Interfaith Relations.
