Saint Athanasius Parish (5915 Outer Loop, Louisville) will host the 23rd Annual Divine Mercy Sunday on April 28. Confessions will be heard from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m., by Fathers Gary Davis, Pat Dolan, Leon Spalding, Joseph Graffis, and Maurice Hayes, OFM, Conv. The recitation of the Rosary will take place at 2:30 p.m. Mass will follow the rosary beginning at 3:00 p.m. with main celebrant Rev. Shibu P. Devasskutty, CMI, assisted by Deacon Jesse Schook, followed by a procession and adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament. This celebration, which was promoted by Saint John Paul II, is celebrated on the 1st Sunday after Easter. Saint Faustina, the Apostle of Divine Mercy, reported that Our Lord said “On that day the very depths of My tender mercy are open.” Come celebrate, along with the Holy Father, the Feast of Our Lord’s Divine Mercy.
